Abstract:
The President's Annual Report for 1967-1968 covers the growth of Valdosta State College, expansion of the Graduate program and curriculum, and the activities of students, staff, and faculty. Overcrowding on campus has become a major concern and the need for a new library (what will become Odum Library) is self-evident. President Martin attributes the rise of student protesters on campus to being limited to "cosmo-type" students, i.e. non-local students. With Georgia and Langdale Hall completed, the need for new dormitories still hasn't been met. New construction, renovations, and landscaping projects are planned for the forthcoming year.
