dc.description.abstract The International Relations Club worked to collect items such as clothes for those who were greatly affected by the war over in Europe. The drive that the girls in the club ran was a success. Between those at the school, the International Relations Club was able to collect five large cartons of clothes. Another part of the war effort that the girls participated in included creating a Knitting Campaign to get other girls at Georgia State Woman's College interested in knitting and also to donate wool yarn to the Red Cross. The girls of the club also had various exciting opportunities due to the conferences they attended. The members of the club also discussed new projects for the year and made plans for some of the possible projects that they had for the year. en_US
