dc.description.abstract | Valdosta State University reflects on its past. The columnist Albert Pendelton wrote a history of "Little Emory" which was the Valdosta Campus on Emory University, the all-boys school that opened in September 1928. Mr. Prndeltion also talked about another historical event. He talked about the fair that took place in Valdosta and went into detail about the Street Car Station still being in the same place even years after the street cars no longer drove that route. He talked about it being still in that area on campus at the time. | en_US |
