Georgia Architectural and Historic Properties Survey of Rural [278] About 7 miles south of Quitman, Valdosta, Ga. December 1980. One story Georgian plan house of rectangular plan. Hipped and gabled roof. Surrounding shed porch. Shiplap siding. Interior chimneys. Fair condition. Date of Construction: c. 1900. This is located in a little community which possibly served as a railroad stop. There are only a few houses surviving. Significant as a typical turn of the century vernacular house like so many others in Brooks Co.
