Georgia Architectural and Historic Properties Survey of Rural [262] South east portion of county, Valdosta, Ga. December 1980. Once a dogtrot, rectangular plan. Gabled, tin roof. Shed porch with square posts. Shiplap siding and asbestos siding. Sash windows with 4/4 lights. Sidelights. Set on brick piers. Fair condition. Date of Construction: c. 1800. Typical tenant house found on a large plantation.This house is a part of River Bend Plantation, which covers thousands of acres in the extreme southeast portion of the county. The plantation was formed in the late 1800's.
