Georgia Architectural and Historic Properties Survey of Oglesby Blvd., Quitman, Brooks County, Ga., 1981. Large rectangular clapboard Georgian plan house with hipped and multi-gabled roof. Set on high brick piers. Square posts support surrounding shed porch. Double hung sash windows with 2/1 lights and shutters. Interior chimneys. Bayed extension on right side. Fair condition. Date of Construction: c. 1900. Under renovation, February 1981. Good example of Georgian plan house. Not significant as part of a potential National Register district. Area of older structures not extensive enough.
