Georgia Architectural and Historic Properties Survey of 106 N. Quincy St., Quitman, Brooks County, Ga., 1981. Georgian plan house. Hipped, gabled roof. Shed porch with turned spindle posts. Clapboard siding. Sash windows with 2/2 lights. Interior chimney. Set on brick piers. Good condition. Date of Construction: c. 1910. 1914 - porch and room added. This area developed by middle class families from approx. 1900-1915. Significant as part of a potential National Register district, northwest of the commercial area, also along W. Screven St. Some non-historic structures included.
