Georgia Architectural and Historic Properties Survey of Barwick [05] Main St. #5, Quitman, Ga. December 1980. Rectangular plan house; gabled, tin roof. Shed porch with square posts. Clapboard siding. Sash windows with 2/2 lights. Fair condition. Date of Construction: c. 1901. Barwick's second store, the building was once a post office. Was built by the Massey Brothers. Significant as part of a potential National Register historic district, of 1900-1920's houses in the southeast portion of town - see map.
