Georgia Architectural and Historic Properties Survey of 808 and 810 Gainey Street, Valdosta, Ga., December 1980. Rows of shotgun houses, possibly used as housing for millworkers at the Valdosta Mill Company around 1900. Not significant. Far too many structures have been torn down in this area. Date of Construction: App. 1900. Typical shotguns, clapboard sided, tin gabled roof. Double hung sash windows with 6/6 lights. Poor condition.
