Georgia Architectural and Historic Properties Survey of 518 West St., Valdosta, Ga., December 1980. One story house of irregular plan with multi-gabled, hipped roof, tapered square posts. Shiplap siding, exterior chimney, transom over door. Double hung sash windows with 6/6 lights. Lovely stained glass at front window. Fair condition. Date of Construction: Prior to 1922. Stained glass in front door unusual for this area of middle to low income housing. Significant as part of a potential N.R. district along West Street.
