Georgia Architectural and Historic Properties Survey of 901 Gainey (Gaynor) Street, Valdosta, Ga., December 1980. One story L-shaped house with tin gabled roof, gabled porch, shiplap siding. Set on brick piers. Modern, aluminum windows. Date of Construction: App. 1920. Typical, functional type of house in this area which was possibly developed as housing for millworkers at the Valdosta Mill Company. Not significant in terms of a N.R. district. Too many structures have been torn down in the area.
