Description

For voice and piano. Written originally about 1812 and set to the song: Anacreon in heaven. "Fort Mc. Henry, or, The Star spangled banner, sung with great applause by Mr. Hardinge, at the Theatre Baltimore. Air, Anacreon in heaven": p. [3]. This is the only appearance known of the words of our national anthem together with the words of "To Anacreon in heaven." Cf. Muller, Robert.
