Abstract

Georgia Architectural and Historic Properties Survey of 120 Second Avenue, Valdosta, Ga., October 1980. Two story brick house of rectangular plan. Truncated tin hipped roof. Full width monumental portico with square posts. Brick coursing piers. Double hung sash windows with 2/2 lights. Poor condition. Date of Construction: Prior to 1922. Most houses in this neighborhood are very functional, this house is unusual being 2 story and brick. Not significant in terms of a district because there are too many modern intrusions around.
