Georgia Architectural and Historic Properties Survey of 512 West St., Valdosta, Ga., December 1980. One story house of rectangular plan with hipped, gabled roof. Shed porch with tapered square posts. Shiplap siding. Interior chimneys. Set on brick piers. Double hung sash windows with 2/2 lights. Fair condition. Date of Construction: App. 1910-1920. Typical vernacular house located in a district with other similar houses of the same age, significant as part of a potential N.R. district along West Street.
