Georgia Architectural and Historic Properties Survey of 509 Second Ave. and 511 Second Ave., Valdosta, Ga. Two double den houses of rectangular plan, gabled roof, shed porch. Shiplap siding and asbestos siding. Interior chimneys. Double hung sash windows with 2/2 lights. Set on brick piers. Good condition. Date of Construction: App. 1900-1910. Typical double den house in a district of similar houses built around the same time (1900's). Have significance as part of a potential N.R. district.
