Georgia Architectural and Historic Properties Survey of Rural (Grooverville) [227] South west portion of county, Grooverville, Ga. December 1980. Liberty Baptist Church. A one story rectangular building with gabled tin roof and clapboard siding. Smooth columns. Pointed arched shutters. Double arched doors, central bell tower. Good condition. Date of Construction: c. 1858. Significant to the development of the little Grooverville settlement. Also significant architecturally. This charming little church has unusual Gothic overtones and was built before the Civil War.
