Georgia Architectural and Historic Properties Survey of Quitman [404] 308 N. Walker St. Valdosta, Ga. December 1980. Small rectangular plan house. Clipped gabled rood with exposed rafters and brackets. Gabled porch with slender tripled round posts. Shiplap siding. Sash windows with 3/1 lights. Interior chimney. Set on brick piers. Good condition. Date of Construction: c. 1930. This area developed by upper middle class residents from app. 1900-1920. Significant as part of a potential National Register historic district, north of the commercial area with very few non-historic structures included.
