Abstract:
The President's Annual Report for Valdosta State College for the fiscal year 1968-1969 describes another year of exceptional growth at the college. President Martin warns that "student unrest is running at a feverish pitch" on campus, but due to open communication between faculty, the SGA, and the student body- VSC has managed to avoid the large student protests taking place on campuses across the nation. A new grading system is implemented, several new fraternities or sororities "colonize" the campus, and faculty research and academic engagement has increased notably. Overcrowding and record enrollment rates continue to underscore the need for further campus expansion.
