Abstract:
Activities are planned for VSC students to enjoy throughout the year. Special events including dances, concerts, and contests are spread over the school calendar to give students “study-breaks” and to meet their social, cultural, and recreational needs. Perhaps the most exciting of the special events are Homecoming, Greek Week, and Beach Trip. The College Union Board plans enjoyable activities for VSC students, while the Fine Arts department holds a variety of programs for the entire VSC community.
VSC is a mixture of people, people from all over the world. Their backgrounds vary just as widely as their native lands, but all play, live, and study together in a South-Georgian atmosphere of warmth and friendliness. Students may enjoy activities ranging from sports to drama, partying to serious study, active organizations to church-going. Whatever path the student chooses to travel during his college career, he can travel that path in the congenial environment of VSC.
