dc.description.abstract | College is many different things. It is working, playing, laughing, and crying. There is an exchange of ideas between friends, acquaintances, and among students who come from far away to experience this unique atmosphere. Though these friendships may blossom or die, their influence remains. College is more than the classroom, laboratory, and the library. It is a strange place abounding with opportunities to which we join ourselves for a meager four years, then it is no more. We are suspended from, but a lesser part of, the normal realm of society. We have no known place. We know not what we want. We are confused, excited, depressed, struggling, expectant, searching, If only time would remain still for a few fleeting moments, but life must move on. A moment of success, one of sorrow, of happiness, these are in the past, present, and future. Life will not wait. Its fleeting moments are so urgent. | en_US |
