Abstract:
Georgia Architectural and Historic Properties Survey of 909, 910, 911, 912, 917, 919, 921, and 922 Gainey St., Valdosta, Ga., December 1980. Typical shotguns, clapboard sided, tin gabled roof. Double hung sash windows with 6/6 lights. Poor condition. Date of Construction: App. 1900. Rows of shotgun houses, possibly used as housing for millworkers at the Valdosta Mill Company around 1900. Not significant. Far too many structures have been torn down in this area.
