Abstract:
During the period, the International Relations Club elected new officers for the year in one of its meetings. The discussions in this meeting were on national affairs, topics such as problems hardships, and accomplishments of farm women of today, "Can Capitalism Keep the Peace", and "America Self-Contained" were discussed. After this meeting introducing the International Relations Club's new officers, a business session was held to discuss plans for the year and talk briefly about the conference in Birmingham that was taking place in February of that year. The club also brought forth conversations about European Politics that were discussed among the club. A panel discussion was also given by the American Association of University Women (AAUW). Georgia State Woman's College, Emory Junior College (an all-men's college at Valdosta during this period) gave a talk on Communism and Fascism. The remainder of the scrapbook section talks about the upcoming conference that the International Relations Club will be attending in Auburn.
