dc.description.abstract 1. ca003_001_f007_1978.32.0061_notes_c1880-1883 - Brief Description: A small group of notes on the backs of pieces of paper. The notes contain names and dates. They are very shorthand so it is difficult to know what the purpose of the notes are. 2. ca003_001_f007_1978.32.0062_insurance-notes_c1890 - Brief Description: A series of notes written on small slips of paper with the Home Insurance Company of New York title in the header. Additionally, there is a piece of a page with the Orient Insurance Company in the header. 3. ca003_001_f007_1978.32.0063_land-transactions_c1850-1878 - Brief Description: Eight pages of notes that look to be details of land transactions. There are notes of the parties involved in each transaction, dates, and some have descriptions of where the land is. 4. ca003_1978_32_p015-018_transaction-notes_c1869-1891 - Brief Description: Several small pages of transaction details on pages with S.T. Cassels Pharmacist header on the top of most pages. Names and dates are written, but no specific details of what is being exchanged. - Notes: It can be implied that land is the item in question for transaction, but there is no definite indication it is. 5. ca003_001_f007_1978.32.0065_transaction-notes_c1863-1883 - Brief Description: On a large piece of folded paper there are notes of transactions. On the back there is a longer description and some calculations. Names, dates, and land sizes are written for each transaction. 6. ca003_001_f007_1978.32.0066_transaction-notes_c1844 - Brief Description: Very shorthand notes about different land transactions (names, dates, and sizes) and some calculations on the back. 7. ca003_001_f007_1978.32.0067_court-notes_c1852 - Brief Description: Notes from a court case pertaining to E. S. Atkinson. There are handwritten minutes of the case and short details on the small slip of paper at the beginning. 8. ca003_001_f007_1978.32.0068_claim-receipt_1932 - Brief Description: Attorney Louis S. Moore writes an acknowledgement of the received receipt of the claim mentioned in the message. He assures that the matter will receive efficient attention and will advise of all developments. On the back, there are details of a land transaction. 9. ca003_001_f007_1978.32.0069_unfinished-notes_c1917 - Brief Description: A page of handwritten notes that look to describe transaction details. The page's text stops, implying these notes were never finished. 10. ca003_001_f007_1978.32.0070_john-goseer-transactions_c1913-1922 - Brief Description: Multiple pages of lot transactions from John Goseer to multiple different parties. All said notes are handwritten on the back of mortgage record forms. There is a page included with a sketched diagram of the lots being exchanged.
