dc.description.abstract | Challenges in installing active learning in the higher education classroom are managing time between the lecture and the student activity, and student engagement with the content. This presentation explores the utilization of the Flipping the classroom design to enhance student interaction along with Voicethread, a Web 2.0 tool to engage students with the content outside the class period. From class one, students were introduced to the classroom structure: 1) Content delivery via Voicethread 2) Use of class time to dialogue and engage in experiential learning based on the content demonstrated and discussed on the Voicethread. | en_US |
